Lawrence Law is proud to be one of only a few Maryland-based law firms accepted to The National Association of Minority & Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF). This 501(c)(6) nonprofit trade association promotes diversity in the legal profession by fostering successful relationships among preeminent minority and women-owned law firms and private/public entities. To gain NAMWOLF membership, our firm completed a thorough vetting process focused on our Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) status as well as our reputation, client references, awards and recognition, and practice areas of expertise. Lawrence Law was then recommended for NAMWOLF membership by the Law Firm Admissions Committee and accepted by the Board of Directors. This detailed process took nearly six months to complete, and our acceptance verifies our team meets the high standards required by corporations desiring diversity within their outside counsel representation.

Lawrence Law is designated as a WBENC-Certified Women’s Business Enterprise, the most widely recognized and respected national certification for women-owned businesses in the U.S. To earn this certification, we completed an in-depth vetting process with the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, including a review of business documentation and a site visit, to validate Lawrence Law is at least 51 percent owned, controlled, and managed by a woman or women.
