“Lawrence Law provides more than just legal advice, Kate makes strategic introductions, and recently introduced me to a major general contractor who now sends us work. I rely on the In- House Counsel program for contract review and collection help, but also value the connections that Kate makes for us in the local construction industry.”

“Kate has been a great asset to our company. Her quick response to review each subcontractor agreement before we sign helps us to acquire contracts quickly. She knows how to catch the important terms in our subcontract agreements, and what terms we refuse to sign. Kate is thorough, responsive, and has the industry knowledge necessary to help us negotiate with general contractors.”

Lawrence Law is a boutique business law firm focused on solving legal issues for businesses and businesspeople. When litigation is necessary, Lawrence Law attorneys have a proven record of success in complex and high-profile cases across the nation and are aggressive, trial-ready, and focus on the heart of a dispute.

Lawrence Law resulted from the 2019 merger of the successful practices of siblings Kate and Greg Lawrence, and the firm that traces its roots back to 2005. In 2005, Greg Lawrence left his decorated career as Senior Counsel in the Division of Enforcement of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to form Conti Fenn & Lawrence LLC. There, Greg built his complex civil litigation and white collar and regulatory defense practice, where secured notable and record-setting victories for his clients in private litigation and government prosecutions across the nation.

In 2013, Kate Lawrence founded Lawrence Law to build her construction law practice after four years working as a business lawyer and litigator. Under Kate’s leadership from 2013 to 2019, Lawrence Law was focused exclusively on serving the legal needs of the construction industry, and Kate grew the firm to be an established leader in the field. Kate also served as leader in the construction industry itself. She currently holds leadership positions in multiple industry trade organizations, including serving as the Chapter Attorney for Associated Builders and Contractors, Greater Baltimore.

In 2019, Kate and Greg combined their practices under Lawrence Law. Under their combined leadership, the firm represents a broad spectrum of clients in day-to-day legal advice, routine litigation, and high-stakes litigation and prosecutions.
