Sam Richard

Sam Richard handles issues ranging from civil litigation, construction law, and administrative law; to contract formation and general business law.  In construction law, he advises the firm’s clients on contract negotiations and collections issues, as well as enforcement of mechanic’s lien rights.  He also has experience counseling clients through difficult regulatory compliance matters.

A graduate of Tulane University (B.A., cum laude) and Boston College Law School (J.D., cum laude), Sam was a managing editor of the Boston College International and Comparative Law Review.  His publications include United States v. Dire: The Somali Pirates and the Fourth Circuit’s Choice to Apply an Evolving “Law of Nations” to the Problem (36 B.C. Int’l & Comp. L. Rev. E. Supp. 76 (2014)) and To Bribe a Prince: Clarifying the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act Through Comparisons to the United Kingdom’s Bribery Act of 2010 (37 B.C. Int’l & Comp. L. Rev. 419 (2014)).

In his downtime, Sam enjoys rooting for Boston sports teams (but is partial to Lamar Jackson) and spending time with his wife, two dogs, and two cats.
